... or two
That dog needs to get out more. Took her out in the evening last weekend after we went to the gym, had lunch and just wandered aimlessly around VivoCity. Also went to check on our geocache. Someone reported seeing a plastic bag of mysterious trinkets in the area. True enough, it was there. We left the bag there for a week, which confused geocachers (there seems to be a number of Germans in town at this time), who thought it was the real deal even though no logbook was inside. We removed it yesterday while Chewie enjoyed another walk in the park.
A new cache popped up on Saturday. But we had to do our obligatory gym stuff and by the time we got there, we found out we were No 3. It's near some live firing area next door to the Siaws. We just drove in over gravel road (rattle rattle - reminded us of some roads on the Big Island). Then hiked about 15-20 minutes in the blazing sun to an abandoned.
According to the webpage, ground zero was down on the pontoon. It was a struggle to get down to the pontoon because there was hardly a foothold and the ground was still soft from overnight rain. Wish there were two ropes for handholds. Bloody hell! The pontoon wasn't GZ. Got bitten by a fat mozzie before we struggled up to the road level. My shirt and jeans were smeared with soil, and we were dripping sweat. Damn! And we had had a good shower before tackling this cache.
Late lunch (3pm) at Bollywood Veggies. We didn't meet the bank do-gooders on their 101km charity walk along the way. But we figured it was already pretty late. We had chicken curry (nice) and banana curry (too starchy). And then just savoured the air-conditioning.

The colour of that plastic bag looks really weird. Did you guys plant that?
Guess banana would be starchy.
Have fun in Japan!
Where? What plastic bag? Don't see no plastic bag in her photos.....
