We flew business class. While there was a lot of legroom, the seats didn't recline far enough for a good stretch. The flight wasn't long enough to get comfortable. Oh, and we weren't served anything more than appetisers until breakfast (we could, of course, order lights snacks, but I was trying to sleep... after watching A Night At The Museum!).Several flights came in at one go, but there weren't enough counters to handle the deluge of arrivals. In the end, we missed the airport bus limo that stops at our hotel. We had to take one that stopped at TCAT and then grab a cab to the hotel.
We didn't get to check in till after the conference was over because the hotel was fully booked, so there were no rooms available when we arrived at about 10.30am.
It was a mad dash to bathe, dress in "business suit" and blow-dry hair in half and hour so the next person can use the shower! Lunch on the top floor was nothing to shout about - lunch at Pete's Place on Monday was way better. See the tiny portions of seafood and beef main courses above.

The hotel is nice and is part of Tokyo Dome City, which has a rollercoaster that runs around the outside of the mall! Crazy. Bubble lifts on the outside of the building. Argh, gag, vertigo! We had to run between Level 43 and Basement 1 for interviews, speeches, exhibition and meals. The lift ride soared above the parachute jump ride at the amusement park!
I was hoping for an elaborate dinner, but was disappointed with the informal buffet in a function room. Sigh... no kaiseki. The other Singaporeans wanted to go for ramen after that. After all that chatter about print technology and business restructuring, I just wanted to kick off my shoes and chill in the room . And to post this entry! And now.... zzzzzzzzzzzzz
