CK went back to work and we went to pedestrianised Beijing Lu. CK's radio DJ friend, Kevin, was to have met us but ended being tied up at work. So we wandered the street and soon got tired by the onslaught of people, shops and noise. Besides, it was only Day 1; we were still disoriented.
